We just love this time of year. The 4th of July (the US independence day) & The 24th of July (UTAH's independence day). Two sets of parades & carnivals and two sets of Fireworks.

Kaia and Deion love the Parades, I don't know if it's the colorful floats & cars & musical bands OR all the candy that gets thrown to them. My guess is the candy.

So we ended up going to 3 different parades & 3 different Firework shows. And loved them all. Kaia has always loved the big fireworks shows (except the big boom ones), but Deion did better and was more interested this year.

This is us at the Centerville and West Bountiful parades. An old fire truck broke down in the parade right in front of us. So Marvin jumped up and was one of the guys to push the truck off the road and out of the way. It was funny.

Summer fun
For Kaia

Ok...so...we went to the Salt Lake City Arts Festival for the first time this year, and we had a lot of fun. I had no idea all the things there are to do and see for kids. I thought it was just a bunch of booths with weird art and spicy food. Those were there too, but I saw cool art as well. When I am rich and need to decorate my house, I'm gonna go to the arts festival to buy, not just look.

But anyway, there was this whole section just for kids. We didn't even get to half the stuff, but Kaia was able to paint on a wall, (which she loved) and played a tiny violin just her size, tried a trumpet and other neat art stuff. Deion was there too but strapped into the stroller.(no way was I gonna let him loose in there.)

So anyway next year we are defenatley going again and this time we'll spend more time there.

Happy Easter

Easter was fun this year, the weather was great & we sent time with Family.

Spring is finally here!

It's been a long and cold winter here in Utah. As you can see I haven't been updating here, mainly because there hasn't been much going on with us. We've been stuck inside most the winter. Some of those weeks were spent being sick. On occasion when Marvin would shovel the driveway the kids would get all bundled up and play in the snow, but sorry I didn't take any photo's. Here's a couple of things in the last few months that i did take a few snaps of:

January

We had a few weeks when the kids or Marvin and I were sick with colds or flues. This is Kaia sick with a cold
but still looking cute.

Everyday I open the blinds and the kids look out the windows
watching the snow or rain fall and
making plans for when the warmer weather comes.

April
Spring is finally here!
The last few days we've been having around 50 degree weather.
We've been able to Finally go outside and no one is sick.
Yesterday Kennedy and David Taylor came over to play, have a picnic and jump and slide.




The boys were easily entertained with M & M's, while the girls played on laptops and with lipstick.

Christmas 2008

Ok..here's the deal. Christmas day arrived and we opened presents, at our house & both Grandparents, we eat Christmas breakfest and dinner, we shared the whole day with our Family & had soooo much fun.....BUT we diddn't take one photo.

I know, I know...we were so bad, But we were just having so much fun and just enjoying the excitment on Kaia & Deion's faces. Here's some photo's after Christmas.

Who's 3 now

Yes...I know it was over a month ago, and I'm just now posting it. But on December 20th Kaia turned the big 3. She was so excited just to be NOT 2 anymore. This years party was a little low key, so we just had a Family birthday party at her Nanny's house

I made a 3 for her birthday cake. (she got a kick out of that)

Like all kids, she had a blast opening her presents.
